Gautham's Upcoming Flick

Gautham Vasudev Menon upcoming Tamil Romance movie Neethaane En Ponvasantham  starring Jiiva and Samantha at lead. This movie is produced and released by Photon Kathaas and R.S Infotainment. Gautham asked A.R Rahman and Harris Jayaraj at beginning for the movie, and finally Maestro Ilayaraja signed for the music.

Gautham Vasudev Menon that almost all his movies brings out a feel of sensual essence and it is hoped that NEP is going to be no different. On the other hand the director is giving us all a triple doze.The movie is going to be released in three languages: Tamil (Neethaane en Ponvasantham), Telugu (Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu) and Hindi (Assi Nabey Poore Sau) where the main male lead role is played by Jiiva, Nani and Aditya Roy Kapur where as female lead role is played by Samantha in all the three versions.

In order to bring the character requirement Jiiva had underwent many physical changes, diet and weight loss plans and on the other hand Samantha simply looks fabulous. The title of the movie is actually inspired by a song from the 1982 number “Ninaivellam Nithya”. When Ravi Raghavendra and Anupama Kumar played the role of Jiiva’s parents, and Santhanam played the role of a college student as Jiiva's friend.

The film was shot across the Chennai city on the first week of the schedule and some parts in United Kingdom. Every scene was shot thrice with a range of casts as the movie is in three versions. It is notable that Ilayaraja, Santhanam and Jiiva are working for the first time in Gautham Menon's project.
