Microsoft SkyDrive for Android Phones

Microsoft announced the app for android phones which is available for free in Google Play Store.

Microsoft says that SkyDrive app is designed to work best with android 4.0( Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. Its also fully functional on Android 2.3 and above versions. If its get stuck with version Android 2.2 Froyo , then you have to upgrade it .

Main features of SkyDrive for Android phones :

• Access your SkyDrive—documents, photos, and other files, plus the files other people have shared with you.
• You can view your recently used documents.
• Choose multiple photos or videos to upload from your phone.
• Share your files and photos—send a link in email or in another app.
• You can open your SkyDrive files from other Android apps.
• Can create new folders or delete it . You can easily manage your files.

Microsoft’s cloud based service :  SkyDrive offers 7GB of cloud storage for new users.
