Facebook's New Website launched

On Aug 2nd (Thursday) Facebook launched a new site " facebookstories " which is mainly designed to share the most extraordinary thoughts and stories from the 950million users of Facebook.

Facebook said the new "facebook stories" website would be a spotlightning  the stories largely for the purpose of inspiring people "to find new uses for these technologies within their own lives."

The Facebook users can also add their featured stories in different themes. Facebook disclosed that "remembering" is the theme for the first month, for which the Facebook Stories page will feature a video highlighting the story of a New Delhi, India-based man named Mayank Sharma who, after suffering from memory loss due to an illness, used the "people you may know" feature of the social network to rediscover his personal history.
