The Wall of Indian Cricket, Rahul Dravid the true gentlemen had adopted two African hunting cheetahs in his sons' names during his visit to Mysore Zoo on Sunday.
Rahul Dravid, arrived to inaugurate the Youth club activities had not revealed his plans to adopt the cheetahs.
Dravid , also hesitated to make the announcement public having adopted the cheetahs in the names of his childrens (Brinda and Tejas) for Rs 50,000 each.
After Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Javagal Srinath and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Dravid has joined his team mates by adopting animals at Mysore Zoo.
Rahul Dravid is the 5th Indian Player to adopt animals at Mysore Zoo. The Previous Players were:
- Anil Kumble had adopted a girafee calf named Lakshmi and a Asiatic Lion.
- MS Dhoni and Zaheer Khan had adopted a Royal Bengal Tiger each.
